Emilie Feldenzer

She makes me blank as a doll
Undoes some cursive bones in my ear
Unsays everything she says
She has no teeth
It feels velvet and a little bouncy
Once she accidentally bounced me
Out a window down through the red verandah the red sun and the sunroof of an old
             gold sedan
The driver was so skinny it looked like nobody was driving
It was like being stuck inside the moon
I climbed out through a window into a sparkling building with asphalt walls and
             asphalt floors
No echoes
No door I can find
I am afraid to ask why my baby isn’t finding me
She is so sweet and dusty inside
