Origami Woman
Emari DiGiorgio

Crease down the middle, then foot
to eyebrow, lay flat. Fold the woman
forward onto herself. Keep straight
and press lightly. Some women are more
difficult to fold than others.

Turn her over now. Lick your thumb
and smooth her edges. She’s easier
to manage this way. It’s hard to turn a woman
inside out, but it can be done.
