RE: THE GREEN JARDINE

Charlotte Pence

I. Ann

Walter, the Green
Jardine, flew
from my husband’s
shoulder.

Anyone seeing our
Walter

Please

speak softly to him

and cover with a towel.

He

will be nervous. Call me soon as possible, anytime day or night.

II. John N.

Is a jardine
a big guy,
a little guy

Do they bite?

We keep a bird
bath with fresh
water changed daily,
so no mosquitoes.

Would a Jardine perch there?

Lots of feral
Cats
so he may be
Lunch
by now.

III. Charlotte

Ann, is there any
news on Walter?

IV. Ann

Still
No
Word

V. John N.

I did a little homework on this
                                 And this
bird looks a lot like “Paulie”
                            in the movie
                    of the same name.

VI. Chops

Seriously, what is
Wrong
With You?
Don’t you
Understand
                            That this
is a time for empathy
and not jokes about him
probably have been eaten
                                 Or this.
