Matt Nagin

Give me the hope blanket, love tornado,
paragon of joy; give me the arrow of bliss,
enraptured labyrinth, house of desire;
I want the mansion of dreams, a sublime staircase
to preposterous dimensions; give me the zenith,
the pyramid, a giant of prayers; bring me Stonehenge,
nightingale poems, dark particles of ecstasy;
give me the boost, euphoric pill, the passion
juggernaut, rainbow perimeter, another jam band
dance; give me your soul—every last drop—
for the night is falling around us
and I want to be ready to greet the glow of the stars.
