an impossible object

it is always
where you are.

it goes left
when you go left.

It rides the train
when you ride the train.

in knot theory: an awkward
orbit on Borromean rings –
or a Brunnian link,
an impossible object;
hyperbolics.

then, walls,
also a fanfare of
cushions, chairs,
and things.

there, in apartment 2,
a reliable replay of the big bang
just more chaos
but on a much smaller scale.
